I am a media junkie, and consume news from the web, tv and print outlets with an insatiable appetite.   At the same time, the images are created to startle and shock, and sometimes the habit feels like a disease. 

Drawing from magazines and newspapers links the books to a specific time and place, even if sometimes the remind me of things I'd rather forget.
