I live in Manhattan, and have the privilege of easy access to the Natch (two blocks away) the Met (a cross-park walk) and the Modern (a few stops on the train).    I go at least once a week, and starting bringing journals for sketch trips a few years ago.   My son, Max, started to pick up the habit, too.    Makes a great afternoon away from home.
